Privacy Collection Notice
UQ College collects personal information about applicants for purposes that are reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, its functions and activities, including assessing applications, managing enrolment, delivering educational programs, and meeting legal, regulatory and reporting obligations. The types of personal information collected may include, but are not limited to, your name, contact details, date of birth, citizenship or visa status, academic history, admissions information, and information relevant to student administration and support. UQ College may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for a related purpose where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.
Disclosure to The University of Queensland
UQ College may disclose your personal information to The University of Queensland (UQ) where this is necessary to support your application, enrolment and ongoing student administration. This includes
disclosure for the purpose of creating and maintaining a student record in UQ’s Student Management System and enabling UQ to undertake functions related to enrolment, academic administration, reporting, and student support.
Disclosure to the government entities
UQ College may also disclose personal information to Australian Government entities where the disclosure is required or authorised by law, including for visa, regulatory, funding, statistical or compliance purposes.
Consequences of not providing information
If you do not provide the personal information requested, or do not consent to its disclosure where required, UQ College may be unable to process your application or enrol you in a program.
