Privacy Statement

The information collected by UQ College (UQC) is primarily used to process your application and enrolment for study at UQC. UQC shares this information with The University of Queensland (UQ) to allocate a student identification number. Information collected during your enrolment may be provided to the Australian Government and designated authorities under certain circumstances. Additionally, this information can be disclosed without your consent when authorised or required by law.

While on any University campus, your movements and access to buildings and services may be recorded by closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), swipe card proximity readers, and other University systems. This information is collected for audit and security purposes and may be disclosed to third parties as required by University policy or law.

  • I understand that this is a multicultural, co-educational Study Tour, and I will partake in classes and activities with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • I understand that activities will require a minimum level of physical fitness to participate.
  • I will have the correct visa for entry into the country.
  • I have provided UQC with information regarding any known conditions (including mental health), disabilities, special needs, or anything that may reasonably affect my ability to:
    • Travel to and from the University. 
    • Operate independently while in a foreign country. 
    • Take part in classroom activities.
  • I will act with respect towards UQC Staff, contracted employees, and other participants in this program. 
  • I acknowledge that fees will be paid in full and are only subject to refund if:
    • The Study Tour is at capacity.
    • UQC cancels the Study Tour.
    • My visa application is rejected.
    • Proof of the visa rejection must be provided within two (2) weeks from the date of notice.
    • Natural disasters or other unforeseen events that prevent the Study Tour from going ahead.
    • Other extenuating, compassionate, or compelling reasons as deemed by UQC.
  • I understand that any breach of these requirements may result in immediate dismissal from the Study Tour without a refund.
